Abstract

The present book attempts to accurately reflect the current knowledge on ethnomedicinal plants in Tamilnadu. The particular tribes were given the information provided in this book will significantly contribute in better understanding of the traditional knowledge of the tribal community. It is also aimed to inspire the
ethnobotanist, biologist, conservationists, traditional healers,medicinal plant lovers and the people who contribute to the society by rescue the ethnobotanical knowledge. This living ethnobotanical knowledge is an important and unique of our state and national tribal heritage.
