Synopsis

We have great pleasure in bringing out this text manual book entitled “DIGITAL SYSTEMS LAB MANUAL” for third semester Computer Science Engineering& information technology. This lab manual is designed for comprehensively covering all topics relevant to the subject. Each and every experiment topic has been explained in a very simple language as per the R2017 regulation syllabus prescribed from by the Anna University, Chennai. The details of the contents are summarized as follows.This manual book is concerned with basic concept of digital electronics such as binary system, logic levels, logic gates, Boolean rules, simplification of logic expression using Boolean laws and K-map, binary addition and subtraction, 1’s complement and 2’s complement arithmetic, Half adder, full adder, subtract , parallel adder, grey codes, BCD codes, parity bits, comparator and HDL languages etc. Theory as well as practical part of every experiment has been explained in a very simple language.We have tried our best to make the concept as clear as possible by giving practical knowledge of the subject. It is hoped that this manual book will be an immense use to teachers and students of Engineering college.
