Abstract

This book on ‘ Mathematical Structures for Computer Science ‘ is designed as a text book for B.Sc., Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Technology, CSA, Hardware Systems and Networking, Multimedia and Software Systems, BCA and M.Sc., Software Systems of Bharathiar University. The subject matter presented in this book fully covers the revised syllabus prescribed for first year students in Computer Studies.

The exercise at the end of each chapter being chosen chiefly from university examination question papers will give the students an idea of the standard expected of them. The authors are also thankful to Royal Book Publishing for bringing out this book nicely. It is very much hoped that this book will be useful for all those for whom it is meant.
